Take a few minutes to get to know our main man Ramsey!
You’ve got an epic moustache. How long have you been growing it for and will you ever stop?
This is a question I get asked regularly. It’s mostly upkeep, I love where it’s at and wouldn’t want it much longer, so I tame it every now and then so it doesn’t get out of hand. If I leave it for too long, it gets wild. Real wild.
If you were marooned on an island and could only bring three things, what would you bring?
1) ‘The Jungle Book’ by Rudyard Kipling. It would be my survival guide,
2) a sturdy knife,
3) and, a really cool hat.
What is you could only eat one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Lasagna. I could eat that forever.
You’ve recently got engaged in epic fashion. What happened?
Well, it all began with the ring I guess. It’s something that I designed myself and had a friend who is a jeweller make, so it’s special. The proposal itself happened on a trip to the U.S. to surprise my now fiancé’s step-mother for her 50th birthday. We did some incredible things, watched NBA games at court side, hiked one of the tallest mountains in Arizona and walked through a snowy Central Park — all would have been perfect. I had the ring on me at each time but none felt right, we wanted to do it with family and friends around to celebrate. So, I organised with her step-mother to do it on our last night, at the party. They have all watched Lauren grow since she was 5 and have seen everything from the other side of the world so it was incredible to share that moment with them. It was perfect.
If we gave you $1m right now what would you do with it?
You know what I’d do? I’d do a world wide motorcycle trip. Visit countries like Nepal, Turkey, Morocco, Spain, America… All of it! But it wouldn’t be right to do it alone, so I’d be paying for my mates to do it with me.
If you could travel anywhere on your motorbike, where would you go?
I think I saved the best country till last for this one, our one. There’s no better scenery than in our own backyard, so I’d ride across Australia — from Sydney to Perth. Go the coastal route, and make sure to hop over to Tasmania. Or I’d go to the moon, that’d be a pretty cool ride.
What would be coolest team activity in the world?
I’d love to say something with a huge budget that would be a mix between an awesome adventure and relaxation, but in truth the coolest activities are those that help others in need. No matter what you are comparing, nothing beats that.
Say g’day to Ramsey when you seem him out on our experiences.
