What have you been hired to do at HD?

I have been hired to intern at Hidden Door and put my public relations degree to good use.
I make the motley crew at Hidden Door look amazing to the public, which isn’t hard because they already are a great team, and I’m very happy to join them.

What is your driving ambition? What makes you get out of bed in the morning?!

My driving ambition is world domination! I want to one day start my own successful business and in the meantime being around supportive, lovely people at Hidden Door is a perfect motivation to get out of bed every day.

What song best describes your approach to work?

Work by Iggy Azalea. I like to twerk on my desk to that song. It’s about being a modern young woman who is battling to make her mark in the world.

Where’s the most interesting place you’ve visited and why?

I’ve travelled all over the world but the most interesting place I’ve visited is the Vatican City State in Italy. Being inside the Vatican is like stepping back in time 500 years! The best of classic Italian art and culture is showcased there.

If you were banished to a desert island, what 3 items would you take with you and why?

I would take my cat Abbey for her hunting prowess and cuddle abilities, a comfy hammock to string up between the palm trees for naps, and a bottomless vending machine full of delicious snacks and treats to munch on.

What do you think is the biggest upcoming trend in the PR industry today?

Personality and individuality are now the most important and valuable assets you can have to build a brand today. It’s amazing to see a new generation of businesses and marketing power being established from a bit of exposure on social media and the internet. For example, there is a rapid rise of bloggers and websites who wield an incredible amount of influential power and these individual trendsetters are marking a distinct change in the PR landscape and the future of marketing and branding.
