Water Works

Most participants don’t know what they’re in for when they start this program, and we like to keep it that way to begin with.

Each person gets the opportunity to assemble a completely functional water filtration unit.  Most teams naturally default to being competitive and often counter-productive behaviours emerge.

It’s at this point we change everything.

We reveal to the group WHAT they are building and WHY it’s important.

Teams must then begin a full build of a unit before they reach the most crucial and confronting stage: Quality Control.

The only way to accurately determine if the unit is functional is to test it with dirty river water; much the same way as the end-user will use it.

Before completion we ask teams to decorate the canvas that will be applied to the unit so that the team can identify their unit in videos and photos once delivery has been made.

We finish the program by debriefing the achievement.  One billion people in the world don’t have access to clean drinking water, and in under 2 hours the team have gone one step closer to closing that gap.

A truly inspiring and unique program that can be delivered anywhere.
