Remote VR Bomb Defusal
With the timer set and counting down to zero, team members must work together to crack the puzzles and defuse the bomb safely.
SETUP
Working in teams of approx 6-8 people, we’ll deliver a headset to one person per team on the day of your experience.
That person will also receive video instructions and a tutorial to get them up to speed on how to use the VR headset for the first time.
FORMAT
At the scheduled event time, all team members will jump onto a video call with our Hidden Door experience host who will brief the group on how to play, and what the objective is.
The person with the headset will enter the virtual room where they are faced with a bomb ticking down towards zero.
All other team members have a puzzle booklet and must work together to solve the puzzle in order to give clear instructions in order to defuse the bomb.
Only the person with the headset can see the bomb so clear communication, planning and delegation are critical.
Rounds are fast-paced, loud and highly interactive.
Whether it’s defusing a bomb or deciphering information from the manual, everyone has a crucial role to play.
CHALLENGES
Teams will have to battle a series of puzzles in order to successfully defuse the bomb.
Puzzles are refreshed each time to ensure that every round is different and challenging.
SAFETY
Headsets are sanitised using anti-bacterial wipes before and after every use.
The headset recipient will also receive a mini pack of anti-bacterial wipes.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Teams are thrown in the deep end and must quickly determine roles and the most efficient forms of communication.
Just like in the workplace, teams are faced with the unknown and increasing time pressure.
Once the experience is finished, we’ll arrange to collect the headset from you.
