Virtual Cup Day
Let’s be honest, this year Melbourne Cup Day looks a little different.
So we’ve created an hour of fun and laughter that still allows teams working remotely to enjoy the party and keep connected.
Everyone is invited to get dressed for the party. It’s a virtual party so that means you really only need to get all fancy from the waist up.
With everyone online, your host will give everyone the lowdown on the format and what each round entails.
From (very loosely) themed horse-themed movie trivia, to interactive jockey challenges, to a fashion on the field challenge with a twist…this experience has it all.
And you don’t have to be horse racing aficionado to enjoy the day.
The games are designed for people with zero or hero status horse knowledge, so don’t worry, we won’t be hitting you up to name the 1964 Melbourne Cup winner.
(cough)…it was Polo Prince.
Virtual Cup Day is run through Zoom, however we can adapt to whatever video software you prefer.
Everyone just needs a computer, a semi-decent internet and connection and zero concerns about frocking up in your best race day attire.
Forget awkward Zoom silences, this event is live hosted by one of our expert MC’s who are there to keep the experience flowing and to ensure there are no weird Zoom moments.
Virtual Cup Day is designed as a 1-hour experience.
It’s just enough time for us to jam in 3-4 solid rounds, but not too long that people start going MIA from the Zoom screen.
FOOD + DRINKS
We suggest people BYO food and drinks. You know, from their kitchen inside their house.
But if you want to ramp up the VIP treatment we can arrange for food and/or drink deliveries to everyone in your team.
Once the scores are announced and the winning team have sprayed virtual champagne everywhere (this is not actually a thing), we’ll sign off and let you watch the Melbourne Cup live as a group.
It’s not quite the same as your normal Cup Day plans, but it’s still pretty damn good.
